On-going Watercolor classes with Jo Pomeroy - Wednesday and Thursday afternoons
Beginner or an experienced watercolorist, all are welcome. The beginner will learn basic watercolor techniques, color theory, design and composition, problem solving. The advanced student will learn additional techniques, experimental techniques, different styles, and more.
Critiques follow each class.
But - - the main focus of each class is to "have FUN" on your painting journey.
Recommended Supplies:
*Paper: 140 lb. cold press Arches or similar quality brand. (Special assignments on yupo, terraskin, masa.)
*Paints: (Professionl quality such as Daniel Smith, Graham, Holbein, Mariblu, etc.) Permanent alizarin crimson or carmine; lemon yellow or Hansa yellow; cadmium yellow pale or Aureolin; Prussian blue or phthalo blue; cobalt blue; ultramarine blue.
*Brushes:
1" aquarelle flat; #10 or #12 round; and a rigger (liner).
*Other:
palette or white plate, large white towel, board on which to place paper; paper towel, sponge, spray bottle; color wheel
